Śarya,[१] Śaryā,[२] seem in the Rigveda to denote an ‘arrow.’[३] Perhaps, also, Śaryā[४] and Śarya[५] (neut.) mean the ‘wicker- work’ in the Soma sieve, but the exact sense of the passages is doubtful.[६]
