 पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्। |
कण्टकः, पुं, क्ली, (कण्टति इति कटि ण्वुल् । अर्द्धार्च्चादि पां २ । ४ । ३१ ।) क्षुद्रशत्रुः । (यथा विष्णुपुराणे १ । १९ । ३१ । “प्रह्लादः कथ्यतां सम्यक् तथा कण्टकशोधने” ॥) मत्स्याद्यस्थि । नैयायिकादि- दोषोक्तिः । रोमाञ्चः । द्रुमाङ्गम् । इति मेदिनी ॥ का~टा इति भाषा ॥ (तथा चोक्तं चाणक्यशतके २२ । “उपकारगृहीतेन शत्रुणा शत्रुमुद्धरेत् । पादलग्नं करस्थेन कण्टकेनेव कण्टकम्” ॥) केन्द्रम् । इति दीपिका ॥
कण्टकः, पुं, (कटि + ण्वुल् ।) सूच्यग्रम् । क्षुद्रशत्रुः । (यथा, मनुः । ९ । २५२ । “सम्यङ्निविष्टदेशश्च कृतदुर्गश्च शास्त्रतः । कण्टकोद्धरणे नित्यमातिष्ठेद्यत्नमुत्तमम्” ॥) लोमहर्षः । इत्यमरः ३ । ५ । ३२ ॥ कर्म्मस्थानम् । दोषः । इति जटाधरः ॥ मकरः । इति विश्वः ॥ वेणुः । इति हेमचन्द्रः ॥ (लोकोपद्रवकारी । यथा, भागवते । ३ । १८ । २३ । “अन्वेषन्नप्रतिरथो लोकानटति कण्टकः” ॥)
