 पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्। |
कपिलातीर्थ¦ न॰ कुरुक्षेत्रस्थे तीर्थमेदे। कुरुक्षेत्रमुप-क्रम्य रामह्रदादिषु स्राननमुक्त्वा।
“कपिलातीर्थमासाद्यब्रह्मचारी समाहितः। तत्र स्नात्वार्चयित्वा च पितॄन्स्वान् दैवतान्यपि। कपिलानां सहस्रस्य कलं विन्दतिमानवः” भा॰ व॰
८३ ।

Kapilātīrtha : nt.: Name of a tīrtha.
One who has observed chastity and has a concentrated mind (brahmacārī samāhitaḥ), if he bathes in this tīrtha and worships gods and manes he gets the fruit of giving a thousand tawny cows (kapilānāṁ sahasrasya phalam) 3. 81. 38 (this perhaps explains the name of the tīrtha). [See Kapilasya tīrtham ]
