क्षिप्तिः [kṣiptiḥ], f. [क्षिप्-क्तिन्]

Throwing, sending forth.

Explaining a hidden meaning (such as solving riddles).

(in drama) The exposure of a secret.

alsoक्षिप्तिका (in Alg.) The quantity to be added to the square of the least root multiplied by the multiplicator (to render it capable of yielding an exact square root).
