गार्ध्रपृष्ट/ गार्ध्र--पृष्ट for( गार्ध्र-स्पृष्ट; in Prakrit geddha-paTThaga) , " touched( i.e. seized) by vultures " , a kind of death not sanctioned by the जैनs (probably with reference to the Pa1rsi1 custom of exposing corpses to vultures).
