तत्प्रख्यन्यायः [tatprakhyanyāyḥ], A मीमांसा rule of interpretaiton according to which an expression is to be considered as नामधेय (name of the याग) if the गुण implied or stated by that expression is found to be stated by another statement. This rule is discussed by जैमिनि and शबर at MS.I.4.4.
