DAIVĀLĪKA : A country. Mention is made in Mahā- bhārata, Sabhā Parva, Chapter 52, Stanza 18, that the King and the people of Daivālīka were present on the occasion of the sacrifice of Rājasūya (imperial consecration) of Yudhiṣṭhira.
