पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

निर्ऋतिः [nirṛtiḥ], f.

Decay, destruction, dissolution; विद्याद- लक्ष्मीकतमं जनानां मुखे निबद्धां निर्ऋतिं वहन्तम् Mb.1.87.9;5.36.8.

A calamity, evil, bane, adversity; हिंसाया निर्ऋतेर्मृत्यो- र्निरयस्य गुदः स्मृतः Bhāg.2.6.9; सा हि लोकस्य निर्ऋतिः U. 5.3.
