परिविद्/ परि- P. -विन्दति, to find out , ascertain Hariv. ; to twine , twist round(See. below); to marry before an elder brother (only Pass. यया[ Mn. iii , 172 ] or या[ MBh. xii , 6108 ] परि-विद्यते, [the woman] with whom such a marriage is contracted).
