पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

PARIHYAṄGA : A maharṣi. One of the sons born to Rṣi Marīci of his wife Ūrṇā. There were six sons and the five others were: Smara, Udgītha, Kṣudrabhṛt, Agniṣvātta and Ghṛṇī. In his next birth he was born as one of the relatives of Śrī Kṛṣṇa and was killed by Kaṁsa. (10th Skandha, Bhāgavata).
