पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

बोधिः, पुं, (बुध + “सर्व्वधातुभ्य इन् ।” ४ । ११७ । इति इन् ।) समाधिभेदः । पिप्पलवृक्षः । इति मेदिनी । धे, ११ ॥ (यथास्य पर्य्यायः । “पिप्पलो बोधिरश्वत्थश्चैत्यवृक्षो गजाशनः ॥” इति वैद्यकरत्नमालायाम् ॥) बोधः । इति त्रिकाण्डशेषः ॥ ज्ञातरि, त्रि । इत्युणादिकोषः ॥

सत्त्वः a Buddhist saint, one who is on the way to the attainment of perfect knowledge and has only a certain number of births to undergo before attaining to the state of a Supreme Buddha and complete annihilation (this position could be attained by a long series of pious and virtuous deeds); एवंविधैर्विलसितैरतिबोधिसत्त्वैः Māl.1.21; उद्योतयन्नुत्त- मबोधिसत्त्वः Bu. Ch.1.16.
