पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

ब्राह्ममुहूर्त/ ब्राह्म--मुहूर्त m. n. a partic. period of the day (that included between the 4th घटिकाand the 2nd before sunrise) , dawn L. (See. Mn. iv , 92 ).

BRĀHMAMUHŪRTA : The period of forty-eight minutes before the sunrise is called Brāhmamuhūrta. The deity of this period is Brahmā. In Agni Purāṇa, Chap- ter 155, it is instructed that one should wake up at this period and engage in prayer and meditation.
