Born in the kula of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, listed by Sūta among those offered in the snake sacrifice of Janamejaya; described as ‘fast as wind’ (vātavega), ‘having excess of poison (viṣolbaṇa) 1. 52. 15, 13, 1.
