पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

I. 3. 9; II. 8. ५९-61; VI. 3. 9.फलकम्:/F those of the afternoon are Raudra, सार्प, Maitra, पितृय, वासव, आप्य, वैश्वदेव and ब्राह्म; those of the day are प्राजापत्य, Indra, इन्द्राग्नि, निरृति, वा- रुण, Aryamana, and Bhaga; these are to be calculated ac- cording to the shadow cast by a gnomon; the मुहूर्तस् of the night are the Ajaikapad, Ahirbudhnya, पूषाश्वि, Yama, आग्नेय, प्राजापत्य, Saumya, आदित्य, बार्हस्पत्य, वैष्णव, सावित्र, त्वाष्ट्र, वायव्य and Samgraha; time reckoned by the movement of the moon. फलकम्:F2: Br.
