पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

मेध्या, स्त्री, (मेधायै हिता । मेधा + यत् । टाप् ।) रक्तवचा । रोचना । इति मेदिनी । ये, ४७ ॥ केतकी । ज्योतिष्मती । शङ्खपुष्पी । ब्राह्मी । श्वेतवचा । शमी । मण्डूकी । इति राज- निर्घण्टः ॥ (नदीविशेषः । यथा, महाभारते । ३ । २२१ । २३ । “चर्म्मण्वती मही चैव मेध्या मेधातिथिस्तथा ॥”)
