पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

LUSA : A Ṛgvedic hermit. It is mentioned in Ṛgveda that Luśa and Kutsa were rivals to win the mercy of Indra.

Once Luśa and Kutsa invited Indra at the same time. But Indra refused Luśa and put him in prison. Even from the prison Luśa prayed to Indra to visit him. (Ṛgveda, Maṇḍala 10, Anuvāka 88, Sūkta 5; Jai- minīya Brāhmaṇa 1. 128).
