पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

--Soma takes away the water drunk by the sun through नाडिस् and thus sets in motion the ज्योतिष cakram. The clouds drink from Soma and pour in as rain for six months by the heaviness of the wind; thus the waters are not wasted; once taken they are returned; from the sun comes heat, and from the moon शीतलम्। वा. ५१. १४-16.
