पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

--one of the four sons of शुक्र and father of four sons; all fit to partake of the sacrifices of the devas; approached Manu to destroy the यज्ञस्; Indra interceded and told Manu that he could turn them to offerings; but they were adamant and hence were killed by Indra. वा. ६५. ७७-8, ८२.
