पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

--removes one's difficulties and prepares the way for the final bliss; performed in honour of केशव or लक्ष्मी in the month of आश्वयुज: gift of bed with गुडधेनु after the पूज and other observances in the prescribed manner; the gift of गुड-dhenu on the beginning day of the ayana or days of विषु or eclipse, attended by music and dancing; the gift of a sugar cow.
