पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

(I)--the sons of चाक्षुष Manu. भा. VI. 6. १५.

(II)--the ten sons of Dharma and विश्वा. As a result of their penance in the हिमालयस्, they were blessed to enjoy a part of the श्राद्ध offerings: Their duty was to protect the श्राद्ध and be its guests. (see विश्वा). Br. III. 3. ८०; १२. 3-१४.
