VEDAŚRUTI : A river famous in the Purāṇas. It is mentioned in Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa, Ayodhyā Kāṇḍa, Sarga 49, that Śrī Rāma crossed this river and entered the hermitage of Agastya.
