सपिण्डनम् [sapiṇḍanam] सपिण्डीकरणम् [sapiṇḍīkaraṇam], सपिण्डीकरणम् 1 The performance of a particular Śrāddha in honour of deceased relatives called सपिण्ड q. v., to be performed at the end of one full year after the death of a relative, but now usually performed on the 12th day after death as part of the funeral obsequies.
