SURUCI : A wife of Uttānapāda. Svāyambhuva Manu had two sons called Priyavrata and Uttānapāda. Uttāna- pāda married Suruci and Sunīti. A son called Uttama was born to Suruci and to Sunīti was born Dhruva, (For details see under Dhruva).
