पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

--R. from the slope of the Meru; flows through देवभ्राजम्, महाभ्राजम्, वैभ्राजम् enters सितोदा, the lake in the west, and then goes round the सुपक्ष hill, शिखिपर्वतम्, कङ्कम्, वैदूर्यपर्वतम्, Kapilam, गन्धमादनम्, पिञ्जरम्, Sarasam, कुमुदा- calam, Madhumanta, मुकुट, कृष्णश्वेतम्, सहस्रशिख- ram and पारिजात into the केतुमाल and falls into the western ocean. वा. ४२. ४४-57.
