(I)--the mind-born daughter of बर्हिषद pitr2s. After her name was the Acchoda lake. Without finding her own पितृस्, she took as her पितृ, another (अमा- vasu) and consequently lost her yogic powers. Then seeing her पितृस् in the form of त्रसरेणु, she prayed to them for succour. They said that she would be born on the earth on the २८थ् Dva1para as the daughter of Matsya and marry शन्तनु and be mother of two seers--विचित्रवीर्य as well as of king चित्राङ्गद. Afterwards she would attain the अष्टक place in the पितृ world. As the daughter of the fisherman, she was known as सत्यवती and Matsyagandhi. फलकम्:F1:  Br.
