अभ्युदि [abhyudi], 2 P. [अभि + उद् -इ]

To rise (fig. also); go up (as the sun); एनास्त्वभ्युदितान्विद्याद् यदा प्रादुष्कृताग्निषु Ms. 4.14.

To rise over (one); तं चेदभ्युदियात्सूर्यः शयानं कामचारतः Ms.2.22,219.

To come into existence, happen, originate.

To engage in combat with (one), encounter, (लोकवीरान्) को जीवितार्थी समरे$भ्युदियात् Mb.

To prosper, thrive.
