आप्लु [āplu], 1 Ā.

To jump up, dance, spring; आप्लुत्य पदान्यष्टौ Mb.; (रथं) आपुप्लुवे सिंह इवाचलाग्रम्.

To bathe, wash, immerse oneself (fig. also); प्रयागे आप्लुत्य गात्राणि Mb.; आप्लुत्याकाशगङ्गायाम् ibid; Ms.7.216,11.22.-Caus. (प्लावयति)
