--The eldest of Reva(ta)'s hundred sons. Father of रेवती (Surata-वा।) whom he took to ब्रह्मा for a suitable bridegroom. As ब्रह्मा was engaged in attending to music, the king waited, and afterwards the Creator laughingly said that it was past २७ × 4 युगस् since he came there. At that time was flourishing बलराम whose name was suggested for his daughter's husband. On return he found his country overrun by यक्षस्, and getting his daughter married to बलराम, he retired to Badari to [page१-296+ ३०] perform penance. फलकम्:F1: भा.
