 पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्। |
वैवाहिकः, पुं, (विवाहाद्भवः । विवाह + ठञ् ।) कन्यापुत्त्रयोः श्वशुरः । वेयाइ इति वङ्गभाषा ॥ सम्धी इति हिन्दीभाषा । (तत्पर्य्यायः । सम्बन्धी २ ॥ यथा, कौतुकसर्व्वस्वे । ३ । “अस्मन्नामसमानतासखसुतावैवाहिक- श्यालक- श्वश्रूकामुकरथ्यया गतवती न्याय्या तदेषा मम ॥”) विवाहसम्बन्धिनि, त्रि । यथा, -- “पञ्चमे सप्तमे चैव येषां वैवाहिकी क्रिया । ते च सान्तानिनः सर्व्वे पतिताः शूद्रतां गताः ॥” इत्युद्बाहतत्त्वम् ॥ अपि च । “कन्याभ्यश्च पितृद्रव्याद्देयं वैवाहिकं वसु । अपुत्त्रकस्य कन्या स्वा धर्म्मजा पुत्त्रवद्धरेत् ॥” इति दायतत्त्वे देवलः ॥ (यथा च मनुः । २ । ६७ । “वैवाहिको विधिः स्त्रीणां संस्कारो वैदिकः स्मृतः ॥”)
