(I)--a son of वीतिहोत्र and father of Uru- श्रवस्. भा. IX. 2. २०.
(II)--the eldest son of माण्डूकि, (Mar- कण्डेय-वा। प्।) initiated into the portion of the ऋग् Veda left to him by Indrapramati. Br. II. ३४. २९: वा. ६०. २८.

SATYAŚRAVAS I : A warrior who fought on the Kaurava side against the Pāṇḍavas. Abhimanyu killed this war- rior. (M.B. Droṇa Parva, Chapter 45, Verse 3).
