पृष्ठभागोऽयं यन्त्रेण केनचित् काले काले मार्जयित्वा यथास्रोतः परिवर्तयिष्यते। तेन मा भूदत्र शोधनसम्भ्रमः। सज्जनैः मूलमेव शोध्यताम्।

हु, लि होमे । अदने । इति कविकल्पद्रुमः ॥ (जु०-पर०-सक०-अनिट् ।) होमो देवता- सम्प्रदानकवह्न्यधिकरणकवस्तुत्यागः । लि, जुहोति घृतमग्नौ कृष्णाय होता । प्रक्षेपे- ऽप्ययम् । “चिराय सन्तर्प्य समिद्भिरग्निं यो मन्त्रपूतां तनुमप्यहौषीत् ।” इति रघुः । “जटाधरः सन् जुहुधीह पावकम् ।” इति किराते प्रीणनार्थोऽपि । इति दुर्गादासः ॥

हुम्, व्य, (हूयते इति । हु + बाहुलकात् मः ।) स्मृतिः । अपाकृतिः । अर्थप्रश्नः । अभ्यनुज्ञा । इति मेदिनी ॥ तर्के वितर्के हू~ शब्दो दीर्घादि- ह्रखादिरपीति केचित् । इत्यमरटीकायां भरतः ॥
