बादरायणः [bādarāyaṇḥ], [बदर्यां भवः फक्] N. of a sage said to be the author of the Śārīraka Sūtras of the Vedānta philosophy (generally identified with Vyāsa). -Comp. -सूत्रम् the Vedānta aphorisms. -संबन्धः (a modern formation) an imaginary or far-fetched relation; अस्माकं बदरीचक्रं युष्माकं बदरीतरुः । बादरायणसंबन्धो यूयं यूयं वयं वयम् ॥ Subhāṣ.
